McClure CLC is the office that coordinates the after school programs, lunch-time programs, attendance interventions, additional math support, and summer programs. The program is administered by the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with the Seattle School District, and funded by the Families and Education Levy. M.O.S.T. (Maverick Out of School Time) programs run Monday-Thursday 2:30-4:30pm. Snack is served to all participants and transportation home via First Student school buses is available Monday through Thursday.
M.O.S.T. PROGRAMS WILL NOT RUN ON EARLY RELEASE DAYS
RULES:Students must pre-register and be listed on the Club Attendance Roster in order to participate.
Classes are limited spaces, therefore students are placed on a first come, first served basis.
In order to provide McClure students with after school enrichment opportunities, MOST has had to transition to a fee based after school program. We have done everything in our power to provide the highest quality programs at the lowest possible cost. If you feel you are unable to pay the fee associated with the class or classes your student would like to participate in, please contact your student’s counselor for scholarship information.
Registration Directions: Full payment needs to be included with the completed registration packet and put in Doug Berndt’s (CLC Coordinator) mailbox in the main office or mailed to the school 1915 1st Ave. W. Seattle, WA 98119 marked attention CLC. Checks need to be made out to City of Seattle. Please contact Mr. Berndt regarding paying with a credit card.
As we go through this fee based process, we are collaborating with Queen Anne Community Center to develop youth programming that will run from 4:30-6pm. Updates on this programming will be emailed out to parents via the PTSA newsletter and posted on the MOST webpage. In order to assist us with this process, please email Mr. Berndt with any programming ideas that you have that you feel your student would enjoy and benefit from!
